The owners of Just Love Experience, Pek and Taura, met in Chiang Mai in 2008. Coming from different cultures, they have navigated both similarities and differences while connecting through shared values of kindness, joy, food, adventure, and family. Pek and Taura have lived together in Thailand, Japan, and Vietnam, and have traveled frequently to the United States and other parts of Asia. These experiences have shaped their love of food, creativity, and meaningful connections with local communities.
Just Love Experience was a growing vision for many years. Experiences turned into stories, which ultimately led to the creation of the business in 2023.
Just Love Experience is about COMMUNITY, CONNECTION, EXPERIENCE, STORY, SANUK, and always seeking JOY.
We are committed to supporting the local communities within and around Chiang Mai. From the long standing, family run food vendors and local farmers to the experienced local tour guides and drivers who are deeply rooted in the North, each of our tours giving back to the local people. We pride ourselves in giving our guests unique local experiences by integrating into daily life in Chiang Mai, allowing for authentic connection.
We intentionally create experiences that allow for authentic connection. Our small tours allow guests to connect with locals to learn stories of food, family, culture and traditions. When you join one of our tours, you can expect to learn a few key phrases in Thai and how to express appreciation to the locals. Just Love Experience is dedicated to offering unique sanuk experiences that allow people to connect with Thai culture, creativity, and local communities. By joining us, you are not only discovering the beauty of Chiang Mai but also making a difference in the lives of local people. Whether it’s a food tour, a homestay, an elephant experience, or another tour led by our passionate team, we have built strong, positive relationships with the individuals involved, creating lasting impacts within the community.
At Just Love Experience, we are a family-run business deeply committed to supporting the local Chiang Mai community. During our food tours, we visit long-standing, small businesses often run by entire families. Our English-speaking tour guides, all Chiang Mai locals, bring over 20 years of experience in the local tourism industry, ensuring that every guest has a rich and authentic experience. Additionally, our motorbike drivers are university students studying International Communication, and each tour contributes to their educational success and development of their English language skills.
The Karen Hilltribe Village Homestay, Elephant Experience and Thai Chocolate Experience were specifically created to support a vibrant community of entrepreneurs, artists, farmers, caretakers and their families. This initiative is a part of our ongoing commitment to fostering positive change and empowerment for the people of Chiang Mai.
